About this desk
SEC Wire
SEC Wire is BeatDesk's conference-wide football board. It pulls together the week's slate, results, standings and the latest reporting, video and fan talk for all 16 schools, then links out to each school's own BeatDesk when one is live.
How it works
Sources and rules
- Scores, kickoff times and networks come from ESPN's public scoreboard [1]; the league's table is the reference for standings [2]. Rankings are the AP Top 25 [3].
- The wire lists headlines from free, credited outlets and links to the full story. Paywalled outlets are marked.
- Chatter is public r/CFB posts [4] with their real post times, plus confirmed official accounts. Tape is official channels [5] and ESPN clips.
- Every number on the site is cited. Pages carry one Sources list at the bottom.
- No betting lines, odds or picks content.
- No league or school logos or marks. School names are used only to identify teams.
- Unofficial: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Southeastern Conference or any member school.
